Sweet Notes was the singer character from the Rocking Beats,
and according to her backcard story, she had an exceptionally
sweet voice. This role was usurped by Melody in the My Little
Pony Tales series, where she was relegated to being just a
backing guitarist. This is a bit ironic given that the focal
point of her original character was as a vocal soloist.

The comic characterisation after the introduction of My Little
Pony tales removed most of her unique characteristics, and she
didn't really stand out.
