The name "Twice as Fancy" was never used in the UK, and nor was
this set ever released over here. The first set were known as
"Party Ponies" in most of Europe, including the United Kingdom.
Whether the first set were on sale in the Benelux has never been
quite clear, but the second set definitely was - even though
they do not seem to have made it all across Europe. The
Netherlands, Belgium and probably Luxembourg had this set on
English language American-issue cards, with import stickers -
probably in around 1988.

Like the first set of Party or Twice as Fancy Ponies, the
second set had symbols that spread all over the pony's haunches,
with a small version the cheek. The nature of the symbols were a
bit more eclectic in this set, however. (We can talk for a long
time about the morality of Munchy's hot dogs.) . The set
comprised one unicorn, one pegasus, and four earth ponies. It
also used two recycled names - Buttons and Yum Yum. Repetitive
names were a feature of My Little Pony through the late 1980s
and into the 1990s, particularly in North America.
As with the first set, they were sold on white cards and came
with a comb or brush and ribbon. The card featured all six
ponies on the back, and Yum Yum on the front. The set used a
range of existing poses from different years.
