Blueberry Baskets

Blueberry Baskets was one of two Sweetberry Pony characters to feature in the North American release set in 1988, but not in the UK and European release version of the set in 1990. For this reason, she can be more difficult to find second-hand. She is also predominately made in Hong Kong, although some Chinese made versions exist (mine, pictured above, is Made in China).

She was not sold on the pink bordered card used in Europe, but on a different style of pale pink card. As can be seen between loose and carded pony image, she is prone to discolouration. This is common with scented ponies.

Blueberry Baskets's Character

Confusingly, Blueberry Baskets's backcard story details her making blueberry muffins (you almost wonder if Cranberry Muffins likes making baskets...). Less confusingly, the bulk of her story involves picking blueberries.
