So Soft Surprise

Surprise was another character reinterpreted into the So Soft format. She was sold with a moon and stars comb, ribbon and flat scented sticker. She was only sold in the first wave of So Softs, and is more difficult to find in good condition (although arguably less in demand because of other versions of Surprise that exist).

Underneath her flocking, her symbols are painted, not glittery.

Surprise's Character

So Soft Surprise was the vague basis for the annoyance that is Generation 4 Pinkie Pie, although this characterisation was based solely on her depiction in the animation, not other sources. In the TV show, she was known for jumping out, being random and hyperactive, but her backcard story actually reveals a kind-hearted pony who helped a stranded Spike get home.
