Posey was brought back to store shelves in both North America
and Europe/the UK towards 1986, but while the European one
remained a regular release, the North American second issue was
a So Soft - flocked with velvety fur from head to toe. Her
symbol had been made much darker to show through the flocking,
which probably also explains why Posey in Europe had darker
symbols in 1986.
Posey's pale pink hair fades very easily in the sunlight. It is not uncommon to find her with white hair on the second hand market. This is caused by UV damage and is not a variation.
Posey's accessories in her So Soft release were the same as those sold with her in the regular North American release. She also came with a flat scented sticker featuring her.Posey loved flowers. She was a ponyland gardener and her garden always flourished no matter what. She had an affinity in stories with the Rainbow Pony Trickles, who shared a passion for the garden. She also had a principal role in Fugitive Flowers, where her garden fell victim to the floral invaders. Posey is said to be the basis of Fluttershy, in the Generation 4 line - and it is probably this animated version that people try and draw a parallel with.
