Creamsicle the Giraffe

Creamsicle was the giraffe from the first set of animal Pony Friends. Although a giraffe may be an odd addition to Ponyland, her colouring was at least closer to a real giraffe than some of her fellows. She had a leaf design that ran up her whole body in a Twice as Fancy style.  Her hair was shorter than most ponies (although her mane ran all down her neck, making it longer), and intentionally white. She came in a unique pose only used for her.

She was sold in North America, but was not sold in the UK. Although promotional material originally suggested she would be sold with a doll in Molly's mould, this never materialised and in 1987 she was sold on card, rather than in box. She was re-released as part of the 1988 set, who were sold in boxes.
