Spunky the Camel

Spunky was the camel from the first set of animal Pony Friends. Why there was a camel in Ponyland is anyone's guess, let alone a blue one, but here we are. Her hair was shorter than most ponies, and intentionally curly. She came in a unique pose only used for her.

She was sold in North America, but was not sold in the UK. Although promotional material originally suggested she would be sold with a doll in Molly's mould, this never materialised and she was sold on card, rather than in box. She was not re-released as part of the 1988 set.
