Puddles and Peeks

Puddles and Peeks were one of three sets of earthling twins to be sold as part of the 1988 set. They were identical in every way except their poses, and were not sold as part of the UK release. They, did however, get released in France and in German speaking countries in 1989.

There are a bunch of anomalies with this set release, because they can be found Mint in Box with various colours of seesaw. Pink/yellow, aqua/pink and yellow/aqua are all possible accessories for this release - I have seen all three mint in package, so the image above is just a guide.

It seems a very common variation, and one which also affects the other twinset with see-saw, Tuggles and Toddles, who can also be found with multiple seesaw colour variations.

Puddles and Peeks's Characters

 Puddles and Peeks did not appear in the animated media nor did they have a UK profile, so the only clue to their characters is on the backcard story. Their story paints them as very young, with a bluebird coming to sing them to sleep each afternoon.
