Princess Taffeta

Princess Taffeta was one of the earth ponies from the second set of Princess Ponies. She has intentionally white hair, and is unusual among her set-mates by having three-coloured tinsel (a trait also found in Sparkle Pony Twinkler and the Starlight Babies, but not in any other Princess Pony.)

Taffeta was sold with a glittery star pick, wand, comb and ribbon. She was sold in North America and definitely available in Benelux countries, via a boxed version in English which was nonetheless produced for that market. The box is the same as the US release version but has different amount of horseshoe points on the back and is marked with import labels.

The boxed pony shown below is the American  release.

Princess Taffeta's Character

I know it's silly, but I'm not a big fan of Taffeta's backcard story. It involves her getting her hair done at the Crimp & Curl Hair Salon ("Perm Shoppe"). She sews pearls into her dress then accidentally spills lotion on the fabric, which turns into glittering sequins. This sounds like something better associated with G4 Rarity...
