Summer Heatwave

Summer Heatwave was one of two earth pony characters in the Tropical Pony set. She was awkwardly called Tootie Tails in North America.
She was sold with a fuchsia fish comb in the UK. This is stated explicitly on her card. She had no ribbon.

She was sold with intentionally curly hair, but the loose pony pictured above has lost hers.

Summer Heatwave's Character

Summer Heatwave had the most creative concept in this release. She lived in a dark cave on the Tropical Isle, which, at first glance, seemed empty and dull. But, with a flick of her magic, she could light it up to reveal a large indoor garden of tropical fruit. This made her popular with the other ponies, who loved to visit her cave.

This concept was also included on her UK backcard story, which explained that this magic ability was rooted in her tropical mane, and enacted at the request of the rather bored, dull green plants that lived there originally.
