Wind Drifter was sold as one of the new characters
in the second set of Flutters in 1987. As was characteristic of
the new additions, she had far bolder colours, as well as a new
pose introduced that year. She was sold in North America, in the
UK and parts of Europe though it is not clear how widely she was
distributed across the continent. As the MIB picture below
shows, she can be sold with curly hair, although my loose one's
hair appears to have always been straight (she belonged to a
childhood friend of mine and I never remember her having curls).
It is possible that both versions exist.
Cloud Puff was still available in France and in German speaking
countries at least in 1988. The box art was the same as that
seen in the 1987 UK release, only translated. The rainbow was
also updated to the new font, suggesting that the release was in
1988 rather than 1987. This release came without a sticker,
probably because of the later issue.
