Wing Song was sold as one of the new characters in
the second set of Flutters in 1987. As was characteristic of the
new additions, she had far bolder colours, as well as a new pose
introduced that year. She was sold in North America, in the UK
and parts of Europe though it is not clear how widely she was
distributed across the continent. She was promoted in the 1987
advert for Paradise Estate, when she was oddly sitting in the
baby pony crib as though she were an infant. The advert text
also reinforces this by saying there is 'even a Nursery for Wing
Song' - despite the fact flutter ponies were definitely adults.
