Gingerbread in the United Kingdom.
Gingerbread was sold in 1986 as part of the first set of
Twinkle Eye ponies. She was not sold in the second set, so did
not see a re-release. In spite of that, she is relatively easy
to find second-hand. Her plastic is very prone to
discolouration, and she can also sometimes have head/body
mismatch. Please note the photo on this page shows her hair has
having a WHITE streak, but this has faded. It should be PALE
PINK.

Her accessories were the same in the UK and
the US, except that the North American releases came with a
flat sticker instead of a puffy one.

Gingerbread's Character
In the UK comics, Gingerbread was always depicted as making sweet
treats. She and Sweetie
were especially known for their confectionary and cakes, and
Gingerbread was especially good at making her namesake gingerbread
men.

There is a story in the 1988 annual involving gingerbread men with
squeaking buttons, and I have a feeling she was probably involved
in helping with that trick, though I can't remember exactly.
