Whizzer in the United Kingdom.
Whizzer was sold in 1986 as part of the first set of Twinkle
Eye ponies. She was not sold in the second set, so did not see a
re-release. In spite of that, she is relatively easy to find
second-hand. Her plastic is prone to discolouration, and she can
also sometimes have head/body mismatch. Her hair is meant to be
curly/wavy.

Her accessories were the same in the North
American release, except for the type of sticker, which was
round and puffy in the UK but flat and scented in North
America.
Whizzer's Character
Whizzer appeared occasionally in the My Little Pony and Friends
animation. I remember her being Sweetie's partner in Sweet Stuff
and the Treasure Hunt, where she was fast talking and too quick at
finding clues for Sweetie to keep up. The focus of the story is
Sweetie, but I always feel a bit for Whizzer because she clearly
has no partner in the hunt because she's too fast for anyone else
to keep up.
Her US backcard was a lot more positive, depicting her competing
in and winning a Ponyland race, to the acclaim of her fellows.
In the UK, she is cited in the Fact File as being the fastest pony
in Ponyland. She was one of the ponies rescued in the infamous
comic 11 story in the mine, after which she made frequent
appearances while the toy was in stores. She did not have awkward
social interactions in the comic, despite her speed. She did
occasionally get carried away, however - such as in one story
where she upset the wind by bragging.
