Twinkle Eye Quackers, 1987

Quackers was sold in North America as part of the third and final set of Twinkle Eye Ponies. She was not sold in the equivalent set in the UK or most of Europe, though she featured on the Italian insert for 1987, meaning she may well have been sold in Italy. She featured one of the new poses for the year.

Quackers's body is prone to discolouration and it is not uncommon to find her in cream or beige. Her hair is intentionally curly.


 

Quackers' Character

Quackers had no role in the UK comic, nor did she appear in the animated series. Her backcard mentioned that she had special magic which allowed her to turn raindrops into rainbow colours by blinking her eyes. This makes her sound a bit like Trickles, only without the watering can. Maybe Hasbro were running out of ideas. Quackers' story also suggests she can hear the raindrops talking to her.
