Goldilocks's original insert has a rather
weird twist on the traditional tale of Goldilocks, in which
the bears apparently don't mind a pony sneaking around her
house because they decide to befriend her. I wouldn't, but
never mind.
The insert also mentions that she came with a brush and a
'bow', but this seems to have been a standard ribbon from
MIB examples that still exist. She was available for two
proof of purchases and $1.50.
Goldilocks was offered again in 1992, on a flier that also
included GI Joe offers. The same 'story' featured on this
insert, but instead, Goldilocks was pictured under a rainbow
with a blue background, claiming that 'My Little Pony visits
the land of Fairy Tales.' This flier seemed to be a 'clean
up' of left over mail order releases, as it included a wide
list of ponies including Pearly Babies and the Dance School.
