Birthday Baby Ponies

The Birthday Baby Ponies were promoted in 1990 and 1991 and were offered through mail order in the USA and Canada. They were never available in the United Kingdom through any means or offer.

True to their theme, they were each sold with party related accessories, some of which were similar to those sold with earlier party sets, others which were recoloured accessories from these sets. Their unique accessories are difficult to find second hand.

Baby Sugarcake is more difficult to find than Baby Gametime and both are somewhat expensive. According to one collector account, Hasbro ran out of Baby Sugarcake at one point in the mail in offer, and could not supply her. Baby Gametime does not seem to have run out in the same way, and may have been made in greater quantities because of her pink colour.

The Birthday Babies were initially promoted as baby boy ponies in Baby Lucky's pose, but they were never released in this format.
