Sweet Scoops was offered for $10.75 if
bought outright, or for $8.50 and 3 horseshoe points
from pony packages. The offer ran until June 1991, or
until stocks ran out.
Sweet Scoops is one of the ponies in the G1 line that
best illustrates how knowledge is the most important
thing in pony selling and buying. Although she looks
deceptively simple, she remains one of the more sought
after ponies, with or without her charm. She is also
sometimes confused for the Sundae Best pony
Sorbet
Surprise, because of the similar colour scheme and
ice cream themed symbol. In comparison, however, Sorbet
Surprise (despite her perfume gimmick) is relatively
common and inexpensive, whilst Sweet Scoops is far more
sought after by collectors.
