Twinkle Dancer


Twinkle Dancer was one of four poseable adult ballerina ponies sold in the Sweetsteps Ballerina Pony set in 1990. She was made available in North America but had no formal release in the UK. It is unclear if she was ever sold in Europe. She was sold with a comb, ribbon, two clips and a mesh tutu. Her symbol was printed on the back of her leotard, making it very difficult to photograph!

Twinkle Dancer's Character

Twinkle Dancer had no presence in the UK comic, but she is mentioned specifically in the collective story on her American box, which states "When Twinkle Dancer spins, her hair wraps around her body like a shawl." That doesn't sound very graceful, but I guess I'm not a ballerina pony, so who am I to judge...
