Baby Milky Way

Baby Milky Way was one of the Twice as Fancy Baby Ponies offered via mail order in North America in 1990-1. She appeared in very small numbers on the UK market at the end of My Little Pony production, as clearance stock from North America, but is generally considered to be a North American exclusive (offered in the USA and in Canada).

Baby Milky Way was based on the adult pony Milky Way . Of all the Twice as Fancy Babies, she is probably the most different from the adult, as her star patterning is metallic painted, not glittery, and she is a pegasus, not a baby unicorn pony.

There is a variation with Baby Milky Way, in that she can have her streak of blue either in the middle of her mane (like a normal pony streak) or at the front of her mane (as shown in my baby pony above). She can also be made in Hong Kong or in China. The pony pictured above was made in China.
