Wild Flower


  Wild Flower was one of four Sweetheart Sister characters introduced into the UK line in 1990. She had also been part of the North American set the previous year. She came with a flower brush, mesh ribbon and earring which all matched each other and the colour of her eyeshadow. She was sold in a pink box with darker pink borders. Her box was translated for various countries across Europe.

Wild Flower was my childhood Sweetheart Sister Pony, but some unpleasant child at my primary school smashed her earring, and took it away. For this reason, my Mint in Box pony is standing in at the top of the page! The above pictured pony is in an Italian box, but my childhood pony came with the same accessories. I believe she had these accessories in North America as well, where she was sold on card and not in box. (Canadian cards are bilingual). There are variations on the type of mesh used for the ribbons between the UK/European and North American releases. The one shown above is correct for all of Europe, and has a more dense flower weave.
