Moon Jumper had a very mad character association with the cow
that jumped over the moon. Not satisfied with just making it a
part of her symbol, the My Little Pony & Friends comic
decided to go the whole hog and actually write a story about it.
In this story, Moon Jumper is startled awake by a cow trying to
jump over the moon. This cow, called Connie, had heard that the
moon was made of green cheese and thought perhaps she had
somehow made it (?!). After the Man in the Moon disabused her of
this theory, he gave her some of his green cheese and they had a
little party, before Moon Jumper and Starry Wings took her back
down to Barleycorn Field.

Yes. That really happened.
This story also revealed that the Windy Wing ponies lived in
Windy Hollow. It shows Moon Jumper sleeping outside under the
stars, suggesting that they lived wild and didn't actually have
a shelter.
