Tap Dancer was an old school dancing girl, with her top hat and her tap shoes. Not that she actually had tap shoes, but that didn't really stop her asking for a tap-tap beat when performing with Player. In reality, her top hat and cane was as much music hall as it was tap, with a little swish of on-stage magic show for good measure. As her box story demonstrates, she knew how to put on a show, showering the audience with sparkling confetti from her hat as a finale. This story was the same in North America, although the spellings of centre and colour have been amended in the UK release.
