Lemon Treats


Lemon Treats was one of the earth ponies released in the Candy Cane set in 1989 in North America. She was sold in the UK via the Woolworths import, and was sold in a yellow box in Woolworths stores in around 1990. My pony pictured above has lost her original ringlets, and I have not tried to recurl her, giving some idea of how long the mane and tail is when brushed out completely. She is not wearing her original clip.

Lemon Treats is probably the most sought after pony from the Candy Cane release. This is a combination of her more limited distribution and her yellow body colour, as many (not all!) yellow ponies are popular among collectors.
